11/1/2007 - DENTI-CAL Form DC-217 Now available. California DENTI-CAL users can now print using the latest Treatment Authorization Request (TAR) form. Users can download the latest software using the ToothPics Update Software.
10/22/2007 - ToothPics Support Assists Witch Fire Evacuation. One of our San Diego offices, and the Doctor's home, were within the Witch Fire evacuation zone. Dr. H. had not recovered her backup disks in the rush. She called us and we connected to her computer. Not only did we back up her data, we were also able to confirm that power and the computers were on, an excellent sign of survival.
10/19/2007 - ToothPics Server Compatible With Apple Leopard 10.5. ToothPics Company announced today that ToothPics Server software is compatible with Apple Leopard (Mac OSX 10.5) software. Work is being completed on the ToothPics Standalone and Workstation products.
8/15/2007 - ToothPics V7.9 Announces Configureless Networking. ToothPics Server and Workstation now auto configure themselves. When IP addresses change, they re-configure themselves to reconnect. You do not need to enter addresses or computer names to setup a network.
7/25/2007 - ToothPics Introduces Electronic Distribution. ToothPics Update Software allows users to easily update their ToothPics software without icon dragging, CD's or USB drives. Gone are the days of dropping icons in the wrong folders. Users are advised of available updates and can then install at any time.
6/11/2007 - ToothPics attends Apple WWDC 2007. This Apple Developer Conference featured the iPhone. We are planning iPhone support in 2008. Also demonstrated was Leopard (10.5). Of particular interest is Time Machine, built in system backup. More than previous OSX upgrades, 10.5 represents significant underlying technology changes. We are working with Apple to define changes to stabilize ToothPics on 10.5. Much of this work will be complete this summer.
9/20/2006 - ToothPics Universal Server V8 is released. This upgrade of ToothPics Server V7 is Intel-native and built with Apple Xcode tools. This new server will benefit all users, in particular, offices planning to use the new Intel-based Apple Xserve. Users with mixed hardware (both Intel and PPC) can use ToothPics Server V8 with ToothPics Workstation V7.7 and greater.
8/30/2006 - ToothPics V7.8 is released. This version adds multiple treatment plans, an updated Implant domain and a field for the upcoming Universal Provider Identifier, as well as other user interface improvements.
8/6/2006 - San Francisco, CA - ToothPics attends Apple Developer conference, WWDC06. While there, we tested ToothPics V7.5 under OSX 10.5. We are designing ways to utilize 10.5 technologies such as TimeMachine, the most advanced backup software we have ever seen.
4/20/2006 - ToothPics Company ships web-based electronic claims interface upgrade, replacing the dial-up modem software. Our longtime clearinghouse, EDI, provides secure electronic claim submissions and benefits queries via web-access using ClaimConnect.com. We work closely with EDI to provide our users with fast and efficient claims processing.
7/4/2005 - OSX users - ToothPics Version 7.3.1 released! with the release of ToothPics Client / Server Version 7.3.1 for OSX only networks officially declares independence from OS9 and Classic! This comes as no surprise to the MANY people that have been VERY PATIENT in waiting for this release!
6/6/2005 - San Francisco, CA - ToothPics Company attends Apple Developer Conference 2005. As always, we attend the conference to stay close to Apple developments. With 3900 other attendees, this was a big event. We tested ToothPics V7.2 on the 3.4 GHz Pentium-based prototype (in a G5 tower box) Mac perfectly. We consulted with Apple technical support to get specific help and attended some great technology sessions.
4/21/2005 - OSX users - ToothPics Version 7.2.0 released! This update featured a full-screen, multiple column scheduler window!
4/1/2005 - Classic & OS9 users - ToothPics Version 6.7.7 released! Mac OS9 on older hardware is STILL fully supported. Of course, Version 5.6 and greater users can share their networks with a Version 6.7.7 Server.
